"Jaipur Diaries: A Royal Retreat Unveiled"

Embarking on a post-COVID adventure, my journey to Jaipur commenced on the 3rd of February, as I boarded a Go Indigo flight from Chennai to Delhi. The airline’s meticulous COVID protocols provided a unique experience, including a white gown, mask, and shield for passengers. Graced with an empty window seat for added comfort, the mid-noon arrival in Delhi marked a pitstop for a delectable lunch – aloo paratha with curd and egg curry.

A spontaneous change of plans redirected me from Manali to Jaipur, resulting in two connecting flights. Despite the option for a direct flight from Chennai, the decision aimed to sidestep potential roadblocks due to ongoing farmers’ protests.

The evening witnessed my transition to an Air India flight bound for Jaipur. As I touched down, an Uber ride ushered me to the doorstep of Blue Beds Hostel, my chosen abode for the Jaipur sojourn. Nestled in a tranquil locale, the hostel boasted not only comfortable rooms but also a charming ground-floor café and a nearby lifestyle mall.

The accommodation, while not opulent, exuded a clean and neat ambiance. A common balcony added a communal touch to the hostel atmosphere. The night unfolded as my local friend, Akshay, a Jaipur resident, joined me on a visit to the supermarket, enhancing the first impressions of the Pink City.

The allure of Jaipur awaited, promising a royal retreat marked by regal architecture, vibrant markets, and cultural delights. Stay tuned for the unraveling of my Jaipur escapade, where each corner echoes tales of royalty and the spirit of Rajasthan.
