A Tale of Taj: A First-time Odyssey in Agra

9th Feb: A Journey Unfolds

At the cusp of 11:30 am, my flight back to Delhi marked the commencement of a memorable road trip to Agra. A private driver, courtesy of Janu Private Tours, navigated the enchanting national highway, a scenic stretch that adorned the journey with nature’s wonders. A pitstop for lunch added a culinary interlude, paving the way for the grand spectacle awaiting me.

Reaching the backside of the Taj Mahal, poised by the Yamuna River, offered a unique vantage point for a sunset spectacle. However, my excitement waned as my driver couldn’t accompany me, and restrictions on my tripod left me disheartened. A determined plea for a selfie stick ensued, leading to an unexpected encounter with a compassionate staff member who not only clicked numerous pictures but also ensured my safety until I left the park—a heartwarming twist in my Agra chronicle.

Post this emotional rollercoaster, Janu Private Tours treated me to the luxurious embrace of Hilton, where opulence awaited in a spacious room.
